JIMMIX

producer

Location: Caracas, Venezuela

Producer. Dreamer. Creator with a purpose.

Born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, Jimmy Abreu is a passionate music producer whose sonic world stretches across continents and generations. Influenced by icons like Michael Jackson, Daddy Yankee, Drake, Coldplay, Avicii, and legends from La Fania to Rubén Blades, Jimmy blends global rhythms with deeply personal expression. He has a special love for the sounds of the '80s, African music, and anything that moves the soul.

Music has always been Jimmy’s first language. From a young age, he was making rhythms with his hands and voice, imagining full songs before he could even record them. By 15, he began working professionally — driven by a calling to turn ideas into soundtracks that uplift, energize, and speak truth.

At just 17 years old, Jimmy achieved a major milestone: he became one of the producers behind Jennifer Lopez’s Spanish single “Ni Tú Ni Yo.” His journey since then includes creating an electronic hit played not only across Venezuela but also in the Middle East, and collaborating with songwriters behind global stars like T-Pain, Ricky Martin, Marc Anthony, Maluma, Wisin y Yandel, and more. He continues to grow alongside fellow Latin hitmakers like Oscarcito, Maffio, Fissher, Manybeat, Meggan, and Omar Koonze.

Jimmy’s approach to songwriting is rooted in honesty and emotional connection. He writes about real-life situations — both the ones we celebrate and the ones we often ignore. Music, to him, is more than a profession: it’s a mission to motivate, uplift, and connect.

Yet for all his success, Jimmy doesn’t measure greatness by charts or awards.

“For me, success is keeping God first. When we have His peace, we can face anything.”

Outside the studio, Jimmy is a curious mind and joyful spirit. He loves space movies, emerging technologies, reading the Bible, visiting hidden places in the world, and surrounding himself with good people. He dreams of going vegan, learning multiple languages, and creating programs to help others — especially underrated street artists — get the support, jobs, and education they need to pursue their dreams.
